Too Much of a Doofus to Blog

I didn’t think it was a possibility that a person could be so clueless that she couldn’t even blog.

Well . . . folks . . . I’m here to tell you that I am living proof. No kidding. I’m surprised I can even post this. Maybe I just think I’m blogging or posting . . . is there a difference?

See? I don’t even know that. If you somehow get this, please forgive me . . . I don’t know what the heck I’m doing.

  1. It took me awhile to understand some of what blogging was all about…not everything by any means! I tried to do a “blog-hop” that was discussed on MARSocial but couldn’t figure out how to list the websites of the other participants on my own http://immortalrelations.blogspot.com and no one seemed interested in helping me learn so had to drop out…while I’ve been on several standard blogs since then, I doubt I’ll ever try a blog-hop again!

    • Thanks for that, vampwriterblog. It helps knowing I’m not the only one lost in space. I don’t know why that helps me though. I shouldn’t want other people to be as lost as I am . . . but . . . misery loves company. Right?

Thanks for taking the time to comment. 🙂

      • I don’t know if it is “misery loving company” as it is to know that others don’t understand all this digital stuff we have to use without more than a little difficulty. Glad to have you as my friend – crazy or not!

    • I was BORN a Doofus, I mean it. It’s okay. I’ve learned how to deal with it. . . . I follow people who know what they’re doing . . . like you, Coleman, The Admiral, Sir Agent, Donalie . . . the list goes on. Thanks you guys.

    • You may be a little bit crazy (I think anyone who writes Fiction HAS to be a bit MAD) but I know you are not a Doofus…it is this ever accelerating technology that stumps me. I’ve been able to “Blog” but can’t for the life of me figure out how to do a “Blog Hop!” I’d signed up for one on MARSocial and couldn’t figure it out nor get any help to do so (I was automatically expected to be an expert). While I still do conventional blogs, you won’t get me within a mile of a blog-hop! I’ll claim a bit crazy and technically challenged but will refrain from the term Doofus. LOL

      • Well said, vampwriter . . . Guess what? I haven’t even HEARD of a “Blog Hop.” Heck, I might have even participated in one–who knows? Certainly not me. I just push buttons. Sometimes it’s helpful, sometimes it gets me in hot water . . . who cares? Not me. It’s fun. I maintain my title as Doofus, for it extends well beyond the dumb Internet. Thanks for writing, Sweetums. 😉
